DESIGN BRIEF
This was an ultra-high end new build on the corner of spectacular Hurlingham Park in South London. We were tasked with creating several, super contemporary finishes for this innovative, forward thinking design brief by Steve Curtis of Operai Designs.
challenges
Creating finishes that were beautiful enough to be on the walls in the house, and robust enough to seamlessly extend into the substantial basement and withstand the environment that housed the swimming pool.
DETAIL
Our favourite was a beautiful a broken silver leaf finish applied to the dome above the stairs and viewable from any floor. A close second was the finish created that was loosely based on animal hide for the Cinema room in the basement.
