DESIGN BRIEF
The project was to create a very warm, organic, natural plaster finish to complement the high standard of cabinetry and fixtures and fittings in the entrance lobby. The finish had to be sympathetic to the design brief, without being overpowering or too ostentatious. It also had to withstand the rigours of a busy commercial space.
challenges
The site was an incredibly busy, working construction site, so just getting in and out with tools and materials was tough. As the site was in full flow, planned logistics and good communications were essential.
DETAIL
The plaster is a natural lime Italian, Marmorino plaster, compressed and burnished by hand with specialist steel trowels to enhance the colours and finish.
